What are premade fans?

Premade fans provide the same end result as handmade volume fans except you don't need to create the fan yourself. They come ready made and all you have to do is pick them up and apply the same way you would a classic lash extension. Premades come in a number of different dimensions (3D = 3 extensions, 4D = 4 extensions and so on)

What's the difference between premade & promade fans

Promade volume fans are a new variety of premade. They feature a wider fan and a pointier base and can make lighter, fluffier sets than the narrower premades can. They also come in larger dimensions (up to 14D) than regular premades (up to 7D) so you can create a wide variety of looks.

How do you apply premade fans?

Exactly the same way you would with a classic lash extension... simply pick it up at the base, dip it in glue and apply to the natural lash.

Which premade fans are best for beginners?

Premades aren't difficult to use, if you can apply a classic lash you can apply a premade, however for absolute beginners we recommend the long stem premade volume fans as they have a slightly thicker and longer base which means there's more area to bond to the natural lash. Don't be put off by the other varieties however

Do premade fans damage the natural lashes?

Only if you select a diameter of lash that's too heavy for the clients natural lashes to hold. Assessing your clients lash health prior to application is extremely important. If your client has weak natural lashes then it's best to stick to smaller dimensions (3D-5D) in a lower diameter (0.07). For healthy natural lashes there's no reason you can't go apply larger dimensions.

How long do premade fans last?

As long as they are applied properly and proper aftercare is followed then premade volume fans will last just as long as handmade and classic sets.

Are your premades heat bonded or glued?

Our Long Stem & Short Stem premades are heat bonded at the base, while our promade lashes are glued.

What's the difference between your promade, loose promade & rapid promade fans?

These fans all look exactly alike, it's only the way they are packaged that is different. Here's an explanation:

Promade Fans: These fans are arranged in 20 neat lines or rows on a card & you can simply pick the fans, dip and apply. They're the most convenient.

Loose Promade Fans: These fans come packed loose in boxes. They are a little more time consuming than the other varieties as you have to pick them apart before use, however they offer the best value.

Rapid Promade Fans: These fans strike a balance between value and convenience. Each box contains 1000 promade fans stacked in lines that you then remove from the box and place on a reusable silicone pad before application.
